Merry Christmas!

Christmas was so much fun. I woke up at 5:45 and Was sitting in my bed for 30 minutes, and then Joey came into my room, and told me it was almost time to go down. I got so excited. I loved seeing the joy in everybody's faces when they saw what Santa got them. I was looking around the room for my stocking, and I realized that my stocking was in the basket of a big orange bike, I did not see that coming. I looked in my stocking and found a book written by Gordon B. Hinckley, it was called "Way to Be." Now we'll start from youngest to oldest, for the presents I received. From Julia I got a makeup bag. From James I got a word search book. From Joey I got a Steven Stucki CD, and a homemade pot he made. From Adam I got a large sketchbook. From Emma and Shannon I got the book, "The Takes of Beedle the Bard." From Amber I got the horcrux locket, and a Harry Potter sticker book. From my parents I got a black peacoat, a Harry Potter T-shirt, and the "Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook Sweet Shoppe Kit." I loved every single one of my presents. And my Mom and Dad gave the family: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part . . . . 2!!"(the DVD.)And here are the things I gave: Julia: A princess dolly and hair clips, and James & Joey: Little toy cars, and Adam: the book "Son of Neptune", Emma: A hat, Shannon: a yoga book, Amber: A Harry Potter movie book, and Mom: a cat puzzle, and nursing pillows, and last of all but not least Dad: A Psalms calendar. I had a great time on Christmas. Then we went to chirch I was called up by Bishop Patrick to bear my testimony, it was frightening. But I love it, sort of. Anyway Christmas was great. I hope all of you had a good, excuse me, great Christmas. See ya!

Christmas Eve!

On Christmas my sister Katie, her husband, Aaron, and her kids, Calvin & Emma, came over and had dinner with us. When little Emma sees a camera she smiles. So I thought I would put an adorable picture of her on here. Calvin doesn't like pictures so I didn't get one of him. Underneath the Christmas tree was packed, it was awesome. For dinner we had lazanya, or however you spell it, and Martinellie's, I'm not sure how to spell that either. It was fun. Then we went down to our neighbor's, Cheryl's, (it was her birthday, and she always has a party on Christmas Eve,) house who lives in our basement apartment. Then we came back upstairs and we opened presents. Katie's family gave us two movies, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Scrooge, and they gave us 10 popcorn packs. We gave Katie socks, Aaron and Calvin got, from us, Nerf guns, and darts. And we gave Emma a stuffed animal giraffe, it makes sound, like music to fall asleep, and other kinds of music. It was fun. See ya!!

Also my friend, Divid, sang in the choir too. He was the king's servant. I usually call Connor Harry and David Draco, caue I have a Harry Potter club at school and that's who they are. I am Hermione. UPDATE!!

On Wednesday my aunt Ginger came to our house and we decorated Christmas cookies. It was fun. By then I had to leave for mutual. I made a gingerbread house. It's supposed to be Hagrid's Hut. I made school cabbages, pumpkins, Aragog, and Norbert's egg. It's awesome! James, my little brother, drew a picture. On it says, "The dog chases the cat." It's so cute. Yesterday Amber came home from Cedar City. We only saw her for a second, because she had to leave for the midnight showing of Sherlock Holmes 2. Her friend, Jessy, dressed up as Sherlock, I think. But Amber NEVER calls Jessy Jessy, she calls her Sherlock. Amber dressed up as Watson, and Jessy never calls Amber Amber, she calls her Watson. And their friend Kelly dressed up as Moriarty. But they always call her "M." They are all awesome girls. Well I got to go! Bye!

Update, and . . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Okay, so I feel bad, but I forgot to say, "Happy Birthday Uncle Ryan! Uncle Ryan is turning 33. He is awesome. And a few months ago I wrote a letter to their family in the mail, and they sent me letters back, so sweet. Love Ya Ryan!" James, my little 6 year old brother, made a gingerbread house at school, it's so cute. Joey, my little 8 year old brother, made a pinewood derby. It is so cool. He got it lazer-cut, and Painted. And GUESS What? It even had "finish" on it, which makes it really shiny. A few days ago, I had pumpkin pie. I put whipped cream on it, and it turned out to look like 'Mount Crumpit' from "The Grinch." Cool, huh? Well I also have more exciting news, but I will save that for it's own post. See ya!

Riverwoods / Christmas Land!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday my family went to Riverwoods for FHE. First we went and pet some llamas. It was weird. Since we brought Toby Emma couldn't pet the llamas. Then we went to see Santa. I sat on Santa's lap and asked him for a nice healthy baby, my mom almost started crying, she said that was an awesome thing to ask for. I felt good myself. I know I could have asked him for many diiferent things, but that was most important. Well . . then we went to Blickenstaffs. It's an awesome store. My dad bought all of us pieces of candy, I got "Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans." I asked Adam, "Hey Adam, do you want Rotten Egg?" (It's a flavor.) He replied, "Yeah, Sure, Whatever." So I gave it to him. He hated it. Here are the bean flavors. Banana, Black Pepper, Blueberry, Booger, Candyfloss, Cherry, Cinnamon, Dirt, Earthworm, Earwax, Grass, Green Apple, Marshmallow, Rotten Egg, Sausage, Lemon, Soap, Tutti-Frutti, Vomit, and last of all but not least, Watermelon. Most of them are nasty. YUCK!! Then we went to go on a horse carriage ride. While waiting in line we met a guy Tom . . . something, and he helped do the visual effects on AVATAR, the blue people. And he also helped with King Kong. He went in the same ride as us. His family shared their popcorn with us. They were really nice. Then we went home. When we got home carolers came to our house. They sang: The First Noel, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. It was awesome. I had a great night. Have a good day!! See ya!

Temple Square Lights!!

Yesterday night I went to see the Temple Square Lights, they were beautiful. I didn't home till 9:30, and not in bed till 10:06. I'm so tired, here let me tell you the story.

So I went to the church at 5:45 pm yesterday, and then we got a bunch of people to come in our car. (4 girls, including me. 7 Boys.) The way there I was sitting on a boy bench, and on the way back I was sitting on the girl bench, and Sasha sat with the boys. It was an okay drive up, it was tiring. When we got there we saw a guy with bagpipes playing primary, christmas songs, and hymns. It was awesome, and we gave him money. My dad gave everybody a dollar to give to him. He was good. He had a kilt on with a dagger thing in his sock. He had the total right costume, traditional Scottish outfit, for boys of course. The lights were amazing!! There was a white nativity set in the pond thing in front of the temple. There was also little sphere, floating lights. It was gorgeous. Then we went to see the big white statue of Christ. I felt the spirit so much. Then we went to Bishop Bill's car, and had hot chocolate and doughnuts. YUMMY!! It was a great experience. All of you out there who haven't gone and seen the lights, please go see them. They are so pretty. I felt the spirit. My Testimony: I know this church is true, and I know Christ died for all of us. I know he makes it possible that we might be able to live with him again. Well, that's all I have time for. I got to go have breakfast. See ya!

(P.S. Sorry about the Christ statue picture, it's blury.)
